I’m based in the beautiful islands of Abaco in the Bahamas. (which comes from the Spanish, baja mar meaning shallow seas.) Those Bahama Blue waters are my favorite color! I am always in awe of the ocean and can usually be found barefoot and windblown, searching along the beach for treasures. I love exploring the islands and surrounding seas with my husband, my sister (and fellow photographer) and dog. While I love traveling and visiting new countries, there are still so many beautiful places I have yet to explore here in the Bahamas. On my bucket list is to visit them all (or the major ones at least - theres around 700, including the rocks and cays).

I grew up on the small island of Man-O-War Cay, Abaco, Bahamas. I have always wanted to travel and see more of the world, so after graduating high school I crewed on a tall ship, learning seamanship skills while taking college credited courses. I sailed to over 30 countries traveling over 20,000 nautical miles. In this time as my horizons broadened, so did my love of photography and so I decided to pursue it as a career. 

After receiving my BFA in Photography from the Savannah College of Art and Design, I assisted a wedding photographer in Savannah for a few months before returning back to my beloved Bahama islands where I started my own business 4 years ago. Along with photography I also enjoy painting, ceramics and other art forms all heavily influenced by the surrounding beauty I find in nature!
